AYAKAMBO KURA PROJECT (2012 - 2017)

Nature is a very suitable environment for cleansing the various blockages of our inner body and the subsequent release of personal power for further necessary changes and life optimization. It can be said that the functional techniques of Native American work - free from the unnecessary myths of modern esoteric consumer culture - are highly effective despite their simplicity; they go "to the source" and do not ask about karma.

In the fall of 2012, Armin Raso was introduced to working with Kambô (Amazonian frog medicine) by a Brazilian friend and healer, which shaped his professional practice for years to come. Kambô is a medicine from the rainforest and comes from a frog living in the trees which, when harmlessly provoked, secretes a secretion that has a powerful cleansing, healing and magical effect.

Through his Ayakambo Kura project, Armin Raso made a significant and pioneering contribution to making the traditional use of kambô in combination with ayahuasca accessible to a large number of people and establishing it in various European countries (including Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Holland, France and Hungary). He worked with the system of the Brazilian caboclos and the purpose of the work was to make their culture and customs accessible to our culture, whereby the preservation of the tradition was always a priority for him. Armin Raso sponsored the "Tribo Nhandeara" association in Pará, Brazil, thereby supporting the local ayahuasqueros.
During his involvement in the project, Armin Raso administered an estimated 1700 applications of Kambô (also known as Vacina do Sapo, or "frog vaccination") to participants in so-called process work. He also treated several dogs. The project was discontinued in 2017, when he himself drank ayahuasca for the last time after being instructed to do so by the spirit of the plant.
