A Transpersonal Field of Initiation & Knowledge
«Initiated mystical adepts behold the most brilliant and glorious aspects of the spiritual quest, leveling for progress to new horizons of knowledge and truth.»
XAMONUS represents the essence of a profound journey that began in 2008, following a near-death out-of-body experience (OBE) during a severe car accident on a rural road in Northern Ireland. This profound moment of initiation marked the beginning of my path as an adept of the arcane and a practitioner of shamanic magic.
The OBE, a surreal encounter with the arcane, unlocked a heightened sensitivity within me, which has since become a guiding force in my life and work as an artist. From now on I became deeply entwined with the transformative traditions of Amazonian plant and frog spirit medicine. I've received treatment from indigenous shamans and medicine people within their various healing traditions for my post traumatic stress resolving from the car accident. These experiences, alongside countless initiations, have forged my understanding of healing and my role as a facilitator of transformation.
I was introduced to working with Kambô (Amazonian frog medicine) by a Brazilian friend and healer, which shaped my professional practice for years to come. Kambô is a medicine from the rainforest and comes from a frog living in the trees which, when harmlessly provoked, secretes a secretion that has a powerful transforming and magical effect. As my understanding of Kambô deepened, a fusion with its original purpose as hunting magic and its spiritual overseer, the frog spirit Kampū unfolded.
During this time, I also encountered Harmal, the soothsayer spirit of the Orient—deeply rooted in ancient mystical traditions, I have been invited to enter the sacred realms of «Haoma» and «Soma», the legendary elixirs of ancient lore. These aren’t relics of mysticism but vibrant, transformative energies that unveil the codes of existence itself vibrating beyond the visible spectrum. It whispers truths of alignment, reminding us that the cosmos has no rulers—only patterns to be understood and danced with. Now I began to study the more esoteric and magical traditions of alchemy and Egyptian mythology, particularly the figure of Amon-Ra, the hidden force of creation.
In the silence of this inner work, I encountered what I can only describe as an initiatory experience. Mystical practices often speak of moments when names or concepts are revealed, arising not from external revelation but from an internal wellspring of truth: «XAMONUS» emerged not as a word, but as a force—an archetype, a field, and a methodology. Xamonus became both the name of this field and my handle, signifying the mastery I have attained through years of entering the labyrinth of the self, uncovering the hidden corners of the psyche, and transforming them through focused awareness, reflection, and intention.. It was not merely a name but a field of knowledge and initiation, where the wisdom of ancient traditions meets the modern imperative to reclaim sovereignty over our inner worlds. The «SIGIL of XAMON» manifested itself as the key to the inner vault of this knowledge.
«The forces I employ do not ask for "Karma", they are significantly stronger than all of our problems and worries.»
It can be said that the functional techniques of traditional indigenous healing work—free from the unnecessary myths of modern new-age consumer culture—are highly effective despite their simplicity; they go to the source and do not ask about karma.
Through my project «Ayakambo Kura» (2012–2017), I made a significant and pioneering contribution to introducing and establishing the traditional use of Kambô in combination with Ayahuasca to a wide audience in various European countries, including Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Holland, France, and Hungary. I worked with the system of the Brazilian caboclos, aiming to make their traditions and customs accessible to our culture while always prioritizing the preservation of their heritage. As part of this work, I sponsored the «Tribo Nhandeara» association in Pará, Brazil, supporting local ayahuasqueros in their practices.
During the course of the project, I administered approximately 1,700 Kambô applications (commonly referred to as *Vacina do Sapo*, or "frog vaccination") in body-energetic process works. I also extended my practice to treating several dogs. The project came to a close in 2017, when I drank Ayahuasca for the last time, following direct guidance from the spirit of the plant.
